Interview with William J. Wilkins June 13, 2019
William J. Wilkins, who is with PWC in their Washington office, is known most prominently as the longest serving IRS Chief Counsel is modern times, having served 8 years for the entire duration of the Obama Presidency. Bill Wilkins is also eminent for having served as Chair of the ABA Tax Section, and for long service on the tax staff of the Senate Finance Committee first as Minority Tax Counsel to the Democrats of SFC during most of the Reagan Presidency, and especially during passage of the TRA 86 and then as Chief Tax Counsel of the SFC when the Democrats achieved Senate Majority in 1987.
