R. David Wheat of KPMG is one of the outstanding tax lawyers of his generation. His career successes are many including Chair of the ABA Section of Taxation Corporate Tax Committee, current Council Direction for the ABA Tax Section, former Chair of the Texas Tax Section and the Dallas Bar Tax Section, currently serves on the board of the Southern Federal Tax Institute and the Texas Federal Tax Institute. Formerly of Thompson & Knight of Dallas, David has become one of the leading authorities in Subchapter C corporate taxation, and oil and gas taxation.
